Published Jan 21, 2021After teasing its January arrival late last year, Drake has postponed the release of hotly anticipated new album Certified Lover Boy.
The Canadian shared the news yesterday on Instagram, writing in a Story (archived below) that the decision was made as he continues to recover from knee surgery.
"I was planning to release my album this month but between surgery and rehab my energy has been dedicated to recovery," Drake wrote, sharing that he's "blessed to be back" on his feet, "feeling great and focused on the album."
"CLB won't be dropping in January," he continued. "I'm looking forward to sharing it with you all in 2021."
Last August, Drake teamed with Lil Durk for "Laugh Now Cry Later," the first single from Certified Lover Boy. In May, he released his Dark Lane Demo Tapes mixtape.
